New Updates Coming Soon!!!

Immortui is a 2D top-down puzzle game, combining classic shoot 'em up mechanics with an entirely new flavour of puzzles, with a huge focus on experimentation and working things out for yourself. As the only fit survivor of an unexpected zombie apocalypse, you must find your way around a large open world map, solving mysterious puzzles to save the other survivors while attempting to live through the remaining creatures from the apocalypse. Almost every puzzle introduces a new concept, so you can have fun with every new area.

15 year old developer of Immortui Samuel Silvester talks to Chris Donlan from Eurogamer about Immortui. Also, a new gameplay trailer, a lengthy postmortem and writeup about the experiences of indie development, and a chance to feature yourself on Immortui's Desura and website pages.

Firstly: thanks to everyone who has purchased Immortui so far! If you feel like giving your brain a challenge with weird and - as described by Chris Donlan of Eurogamer - "peculiarly exhilarating" - puzzles, now's a great time to try.

As described by Chris Donlan of Eurogamer? That's right - Immortui was recently featured on Eurogamer.net, as I spoke to Chris Donlan about the game, along with other questions concerning being a 15 year old game developer. He describes the game as "fascinating", "frustrating", and details his favourite moment, involving a "woodland maze where the walls often come to life and try to kill you" (hint: these walls are necessary to complete the puzzle).

Onto more developments - I've created a "gameplay trailer" for Immortui, which shows gameplay from a few selected puzzles in the game, along with the in-game soundtrack, composed by the fantastic Jameson Bell of Epic Bear Concepts.

For any aspiring (or current) game developers, I also wrote a fairly lengthy post mortem on the entire experience of being a 15 year old developer, including technical information and advice: Reddit.com

And, finally, I love watching people play puzzle games, and I'm know a lot of other people do too. I especially like watching people playing puzzle games that I have made!

That's why, if you are one of the first 5 people to upload a video featuring something fun you are doing with Immortui (or maybe an video of you completing the game - that's impressive in itself), I will feature you on the front page of Immortui's website, this Desura page, and possibly even in-game.
